HSE POLICY

SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY & OBJECTIVES
MEESL introduced the concept of HSE policy throughout its operations. This was a formal recognition of a number of initiatives that had been put in place since the company’s inception. The purpose of the policy was to create a Health, Safety and Environmental philosophy, which would provide a system that allowed measurement of performances throughout the various sectors of the Company.
Further development of this philosophy introduced a management system, which provided management with improved control of risks, and a means to demonstrate their commitment to continued improvement in the safety performance within the Company’s operations.
General Philosophy
This HSE Policy represents an ongoing development of the above philosophy. The overall goal is to implement a project plan in accordance with our business strategy. MEESL also provides a framework to steadily improve the Company’s safety performance and assist the operators in avoiding loss in its operations.
Introduction
The Community Affairs Safety, Health, Environmental & Security (CASHES) Policy is an integral part of the MEESL Corporate Management System, which will be implemented throughout our project execution. It sets out the objectives, organizational structure and arrangements to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, including subcontractors, client’s representatives and members of the public within the duration of the contract.
